Kincardine Ontario Monday July 29 2019 Beach erosion is worse this week! Rising water levels are very noticeable. The beaches have been impacted by the rise of water levels. Not much beach left and owners with lakefront cottages are concerned about their properties. There is an interesting article here about lake levels, erosion and shore protection. Visit Maitland Conservation and in Chicago on Lake Michigan 2 beaches are impacted . All photos © Jim Gillies

May 19 - 2018 This was the first time up for the season. We must have taken the shutters off and opened up the cottage. The water was freezing.
